About me

As a member of the firm’s Competition & Regulatory team, I handle various tasks, from drafting sector-specific agreements to ensuring clients comply with local laws. I have in-depth knowledge of Estonian and European Union company law and corporate governance. I believe a positive attitude and stepping out of your comfort zone are key to being a good lawyer.

Professional highlights

Broad experience. During my student years I interned in both public and private sectors, locally and abroad. In particular, I interned at the Estonian Ministry of Justice and a business law firm in Brussels. I also worked full-time in the firm’s Corporate and M&A practice area, helping international clients set up businesses in Estonia and handling post‑establishment matters.

Education first. I graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Tartu. Throughout my studies I took various legal courses in Tallinn, Nicosia, and Vienna. The highlight of my academic experience was a semester abroad at Ghent University, where I deepened my knowledge in EU, corporate, and transport law. I also studied project management and learned basic Dutch and French.

Thinking big. I am particularly interested in European Union law. Studying abroad made me appreciate the EU’s well-formed legislation and the diverse knowledge from different cultural and social backgrounds. By nature, I am an energy and technology enthusiast. My master’s thesis focused on the legal challenges of personalised pricing in online marketplaces. I stay updated with the latest developments in this field, inspired by how new technologies challenge existing laws.
