We are continuing our collaboration that started in 2019 with Startup Wise Guys, an accelerator for new business in the Baltic States. As legal industry partner we will participate in the Wise Guys Fintech 4 programme, due to start in October.
The same as last year, the programme will be hosted by ROCKIT and supported by other partners such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Swedbank, Google, SEB, and Oracle.
Mentorship, investments, offices and other perks for startups
Startups accepted on the programme will have access to high level mentors from these companies, as well as potential pilots and other perks. The acceleration programme will run from October 2020 to February 2021 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Selected startups will receive up to EUR 100,000 initial investment with follow-on possibility, modern office space and an intense mentorship-driven programme.
Comments Sorainen partner Augustas Klezys: “We are excited to be continuing our partnership with Startup Wise Guys and work with the most promising fintech startups. We believe that this programme will continue to be a great opportunity to meet strong teams, share our know-how, and make our contribution to boosting the fintech ecosystem in the region.”
Advising on regulatory, licensing and other matters
On top of mentoring during Regulatory Week, our Fintech sector team will also provide initial support in the Fintech business model, regulatory and corporate matters. Partner Augustas Klezys with senior associates Laura Matukaitytė, Vytautas Sabalys, Irma Kirklytė and associate Sidas Sokolovas will devote their energy to mentoring the startups and ensuring that their business models meet all legal requirements.
