At the Europe Women in Business Law Awards 2018 ceremony on 14 June Sorainen was recognised as the best law firm in the Baltics. This is the second year in a row that we have received this award established by the Euromoney Legal Media Group.
Comments Sorainen partner Karin Madisson: “Ethics, respect and encouraging constant personal development are among our core values at Sorainen. We put a lot of effort into ensuring that every team member has equal opportunities to grow in their profession. We are highly honoured to receive this award, celebrating equality and diversity in the legal market.”
Results of our efforts to support diversity and gender equality at Sorainen include:
- 66% of Sorainen senior lawyers and almost 20% of partners are women. These figures have been steadily growing, as a larger share of female professionals are assuming top positions which used to be more male-dominated.
- Since 2016 three new female partners have joined the Sorainen partnership – Piret Jesse in Estonia, Lelde Laviòa in Latvia and Saulë Dagilytë in Lithuania.
