Alexey Anischenko, partner with Sorainen Belarus, took part in a conference on ‘Dispute Resolution in CIS-Related Business Transactions’ in Frankfurt, where he spoke about recent tendencies in dispute resolution involving foreign entities. In general, Alexey positively assessed the changes taking place in Belarus in the area of quality of justice and development of alternative methods of business dispute resolution, such as international commercial arbitration and mediation.
The conference, organized by the German-Russian Bar Association and the German Arbitration Institute’s under 40 group (DIS40) with the support of the Frankfurt am Main Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brought together experienced practitioners who regularly act as counsel or arbitrators in CIS-related disputes as well as representatives of leading arbitration institutions.
