We are representing the world’s leading wine and spirits brand house in an arbitration against a German wine producer and distributor for breach of contract. Long-term cooperation ended with a termination notice by the client when a dispute arose as a result of a failed delivery worth several hundred thousand euros. Our client is also requesting the arbitration court award late payment interest and losses under the 1980 Vienna Sales Convention. The arbitration is being conducted in Riga, Latvia, under the Riga Arbitration Court Rules, and the award is expected to be issued in April 2024.
