We provided legal assistance to a natural person who approached the State Security Service regarding an alleged criminal offence that threatens the interests of state security and related persecution of the person.
About the case
False information has been spread about the person, aimed at glorifying the Russian army and supporting the hostilities in Ukraine, as well as unwanted communication with the person and possible surveillance of him/her. We provided assistance to prevent a potential threat to Latvia’s national security interests by pro-Russian-minded persons.
