Our partner Karin Madisson was elected an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Enefit Green, a leading renewable energy company in the Baltic Sea region. Along with Karin, the General Meeting appointed Erkki Raasuke as an independent Supervisory Board member in addition to three representatives of Eesti Energia . Karin’s mandate lasts for three years.

“Karin Madisson is known for her professionalism and extensive knowledge, making her an excellent addition to the Supervisory Board of Enefit Green. We are confident that her contribution will support the company’s further development,” said Juhan Aguraiuja, Chairman of the Management Board of Enefit Green.

20% increase in production volume

“Enefit Green is, in my opinion, the most valuable and one of the most interesting publicly traded companies in the Baltics. Renewable energy is a field that fascinates me greatly, and I have been an investor in Enefit Green since its IPO,” says Karin Madisson. In her opinion, Enefit Green’s achievements and development in the market are unparalleled. For example, by September, the total capacity of all the company’s installed electricity production equipment exceeded 1000 MW, and in November, electricity production surpassed the significant threshold of 200 GWh. The volume of electricity production increased by nearly 20% over the past year.

These are incredible achievements, and although the company also faces significant challenges, Karin believes that the current management can adequately respond to them and turn them into strengths.

Long-term consulting experience helps the company develop

Karin was invited to enrol by the Supervisory Board of Enefit Green, which found that Karin’s competence and experience could be a valuable addition to the board’s work. She has over 30 years of experience and extensive knowledge of business law and corporate governance, focusing on industrial sector clients.

Karin has been a partner at law firm Sorainen for 20 years, participating in its development from its very early days and witnessing its growth into the largest regional law firm in the Baltics.
