Sorainen’s team of lawyers successfully represented the insurance company If P&C Insurance AS in legal proceedings which involved complicated issues of insurance law, regulation of consumer rights, competition law, and the boundary between civil proceedings in court and supervision by supervisory authorities during administrative proceedings. The proceedings also involved a number of complex procedural issues, highlighting in particular the merits and limitations of the written and video processes introduced by C19.
Thanks to cohesive teamwork between the representatives of the different practice groups at the office while assisting the client, and going through almost exhaustive legal process before courts of all instances, we managed to ensure that the claim against the client was dismissed, achieving a fair settlement.
