We advised the Estonian defence startup Wayren on securing a strategic investment agreement worth EUR 7.9 million with EFA Group, one of the world’s leading defence industry groups.

The goal of this collaboration is not merely to raise funds, but to refine the pilot project and prepare for large-scale production and delivery.

An uninterrupted battlefield view provides an advantage over the enemy

Wayren was founded by former cyber defence experts, and its proprietary Singularity communication platform enables resilient communication. The patented system ensures that critical data reaches its destination even in heavily disrupted, low-bandwidth, or unstable network environments. The system has already been delivered to the Estonian Defence League as a pilot project and is currently being tested by the Estonian Defence Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

SCYTALYS, a Greek company within the EFA Group specialising in developing mission-critical software and systems integration, is playing a central role in the new strategic partnership.
