Sorainen assisted CGTrader, a company managing the 3D models online marketplace, in attracting a EUR 2 million investment. At this stage the main investor is Estonian venture capital fund Karma Ventures.
CGTrader is one of the biggest 3D model marketplaces in the world. Currently it offers almost 600,000 models and has over 1.1 million users. Last year company income reached over EUR 260,000.
According to Dalia Lašaitė, executive director and co-founder of CGTrader, the funds will be used to further expand the business – the company plans to attract new designers and buyers and to create new technological solutions to facilitate and accelerate designers’ work. The company also plans to expand in the USA, the biggest market for 3D models.
Sorainen advised the client on all aspects of the transaction, including analysing the most suitable transaction structure, negotiating investment documents and regulatory matters.
