Sorainen Latvian office acted as Latvian law adviser to the joint lead managers Citigroup, Luminor Bank, Nordea and UniCredit on the issuance by Citadele banka of 200 million EUR in notes, due in 2026.
The purpose
The purpose of the issuance is to meet the Minimum Requirement for Own Funds and Eligible Liabilities (MREL). Proceeds from the offer are to be used by Citadele for general corporate purposes.
