We represented Tallinna Linnatranspordi Aktsiaselts (TLT), a company fully owned by the City of Tallinn, in a procurement to purchase compressed gas for TLT’s natural gas-powered buses. The buses are due to arrive late in the summer of 2020 and the supply of gas will last for the next 10 years. The procurement also included building and operating two compressed gas stations. The 1.5-year-long project will directly contribute to improving the Tallinn City environment.
EUR 80 million procurement gets green light from courts
Our cross-practice team of legal and tax experts helped to prepare and conduct the public procurement proceedings. We also advised TLT throughout the signing of the contract as well as representing the client in three public procurement disputes before the Public Procurement Dispute Committee and courts. The dispute committee and courts found that all the decisions made by the client in the procurement procedure were lawful. The estimated value of the public procurement contract is EUR 80 million.
Our cross-practice project team
Led by our Head of the Public Procurement & Public Projects team, senior associate Kadri Härginen, the project team also involved senior associates Kaspar Endrikson, Kaido Künnapas and Sandra Mikli, with partner Carri Ginter.
