We are advising Crespect, the developer of an intelligent cloud-based legal practice management system as a SaaS product addressed for international law firms, in preparing the contractual terms for its use. We are also assisting Crespect on a wide range of topics to ensure the compliance of their product and business in general.
The backbone of a modern law firm
With the legal field becoming more and more complex, law firms need advanced software solutions to administrate their service. The Crespect system provides all the tools a modernl law firm needs in one comprehensive solution. The SaaS product includes features such as client onboarding and management, case management, time tracking, billing, collaboration, and resource and know-how management, among others, all in one platform. This all-in-one system saves valuable time and provides an intuitive and smooth user experience while using enhanced security, seamless business continuity and scalability opportunities.
Our services and client team
We are assisting Crespect with drafting the terms and conditions (including data processing agreement) for the use of their SaaS platform and the privacy policy directed towards the users of the platform.
We also assisted the client on coming up with legal documentation that balances the interests of Crespect as a SaaS platform provider, international law firms as service recipients and data subjects with regard to an optimal solution where law firms could provide their legal services using the infrastructure provided and maintained by Crespect while ensuring the protection of both the commercial interests and the fundamental rights of the persons concerned. Hence, in addition to drafting the required documentation, our advice further includes assistance on a wide range of contractual and data protection issues.
The core team enabling Crespect to move forward with their project comprises of associate Jürgen Adamson, partner Kaupo Lepasepp and assistant lawyer Stella Victoria Ojala.
In April 2023, we advised Crespect on raising EUR 605,000.
