In 2021 Sorainen Latvian office assisted two clients in developing binding cooperate rules (BCR) under Article 47 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
According to GDPR requirements, the BCR is one of the permissible mechanisms for transferring personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area.
About BCR
The BCR is a legally binding mechanism that ensures a common standard of data protection across the group. It is only applicable to the flow of data within a group of companies and helps companies to operate successfully on a global scale.
