Sorainen helped James Jānis Berdigans, founder of Printify – a Latvian print-on-demand platform – to establish and register a foundation in Latvia: Berdiganu Fonds, ar mīlestību Latvijai (“Berdigans Foundation, to Latvia with Love”).
The objectives of the foundation involve strengthening the startup ecosystem and fostering the transition to a knowledge-based economy, as well as creating co-working spaces for fostering startups and innovation.
We were happy to advise Mr Berdigans on the governance structure of the foundation, and tax aspects related to contributions to the foundation.
