We advised the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the establishment of a state foundation and the merger of a foundation established by private individuals.
Project in co-operation with the Estonian Centre of Eastern Partnership
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wanted to establish a new development cooperation agency in co-operation with the Estonian Centre of Eastern Partnership. As a part of the analysis, we examined internal documentation of the foundation and analysed whether and how it would be possible to merge the old foundation with the new foundation in the best way. The analysis also aimed to identify how to structure the new foundation so that no conflict of interest arises.
As a result of the analysis, the client was given recommendations for further action. Our analysis covered the areas of company law, labour law, constitutional law and personal data protection.
Our client team
Our team advising the client included partner Karin Madisson, counsel Pirkko-Liis Harkmaa, associate Nele Suurmets and legal assistant Hanna-Elise Rähni.
