We represented IK Partners in the sale of Carspect Group to TÜV SÜD. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Headquartered in Bromma, Sweden, Carspect Group is a leading provider of vehicle inspection services in Sweden, Estonia and Latvia. It carries out a range of vehicle services, including control, follow-up and registration inspections. Its first Swedish station opened in Tyresö in 2010, and today, the company has 118 stations and more than 300 employees in Sweden. Carspect has 34 stations and more than 150 employees across Estonia and Latvia.
Expanding its growth in Northern Europe

With the acquisition of Carspect Group, TÜV SÜD now operates in the PTI market in nine countries. In addition to its home market in Germany, TÜV SÜD experts provide vehicle inspection services in Turkey, Spain, Austria, Slovakia and South Africa.

We assisted Swedish law firm Vinge, providing legal advice on local laws as well as coordinating the transaction locally and ensuring fulfilment of the preconditions related to local companies in order to close the transaction.
