We advised Kantar Public, an international public policy advisory business owned by Trilantic Europe, on acquiring PPMI, a leading European policy research and consulting company based in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Strengthened offerings in Europe
The deal will enable both organisations to strengthen their combined offerings across their public policy and evaluation, data and analytics, and behavioural and communications work. Thus allowing better support to government, multinationals, and business and civil society clients when dealing with the most complex public policy issues worldwide.
“PPMI is a fast-growing business with deep expertise across public policy, technology-enabled data and analytics, and a fantastic team of dedicated specialists. Combined with the market-leading position of Kantar Public as one of the outstanding public policy evidence and advisory businesses globally, we are confident that through this partnership, both businesses will continue to go from strength to strength,” says Antony Bellau, managing director at Trilantic Europe and member of Kantar Public’s global management board.
Since its management buyout, backed by Trilantic Europe, in 2022, Kantar Public has been an independent consultancy, with over 700 people across more than 20 countries. The acquisition of PPMI, with more than 100 in-house researchers and clients, including the European Investment Bank and the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training, will bolster Kantar Public’s offerings in Europe.
