We advised a German company Klett Lernen, part of the Klett Group, on investing in Baltų lankų vadovėliai, one of the best-known brands in the Lithuanian textbook publishing market.
The Klett Group is Germany’s leading private educational and continued education services provider, with more than 80 companies in 18 countries. This is the first investment by the Klett Group in Lithuania, enabling the company to increase its investment activities in the Baltic region.
“We are thrilled to form a partnership with Baltų lankų vadovėliai, sharing a common vision of delivering contemporary, high-quality educational content in various formats. Together, we aim to bolster the availability of educational publications,” says Rok Kvaternik, the managing director for Eastern Europe and the Baltic States at Klett.
Baltų lankų vadovėliai, which publishes modern educational literature and textbooks, separated from the publishing house Baltos lankos in 2014. The company has recently shifted its focus to distance learning and digital textbooks. Drawing upon the vast expertise accumulated by the Klett group over the years, Baltų lankų vadovėliai will now craft contemporary educational literature tailored to the Lithuanian market and explore new solutions in digital content.
