We advised KogoPay in obtaining an electronic money institution licence in Lithuania. The company plans to expand its operations in Lithuania and the EU by offering customers electronic money services, including e-wallet services, express payments and QR payments, allowing customers to pay conveniently when shopping online, or offline in physical stores.

Our team consisted of partner Tomas Kontautas, associate Liutauras Vasiliauskas, counsel Evaldas Dūdonis and senior associate Jurgita Nikita. We advised the client on the establishment of a company, shareholder structure and financing, and prepared an application for an electronic money institution licence, as well as representing the client at the Bank of Lithuania.
