We advised Peaasjad, an Estonian NGO focused on helping people with mental health and addiction issues, on a wide range of data protection and contractual issues
Focus on mental health
Peaasjad connects people who care about mental health. The core of Peaasjad consists of mental health and youth work specialists, consultants, and supporters from different fields. Members of Peaasjad are united by their enthusiasm about, interest in, and respect for all things human.
Supporting those in need
We advised Peaasjad on a pro bono basis, as a part of our Shared Mission programme, offering EUR 100,000 worth of free legal advice to innovative projects that make a positive contribution to the region. In order to support Peaasjad on their mission, we offered them 40 hours of free legal advice with the following results:
- A thorough record of processing activities;
- A patient consent form;
- A privacy policy;
- A non-disclosure agreement;
- A contract for services for their mental health counselors.
With this documentation, Peaasjad can move forward with their project and assist those who need help, with surety that confidentiality is ensured and data processing activities are in compliance with the GDPR.
Our client team
Peaasjad was advised by our team of data protection specialists, led by associate Kirsi Johanna Koistinen, supported by partners Kaupo Lepasepp and Mihkel Miidla, as well as assistant lawyer Jürgen Adamson.
