Sorainen assisted Pontos Group and its Estonian subsidiary, Pontos Baltic, on the sale of the RYO shopping centre to EfTEN Real Estate Fund 4 managed by EfTEN Capital. The shopping centre ‒ with a total retail area of over 24 thousand m2 ‒ was sold for EUR 47 million. It is one of the largest commercial real estate transactions in the Baltics in 2018.
The RYO shopping centre in Panevėžys currently houses 132 tenants, the biggest among them being Rimi, Jysk, H&M and Avitela. The shopping centre was built in 2005 and was called Babilonas at the time. It underwent reconstruction and was rebranded to RYO in 2014.
Pontos Group is a Finnish private equity and real estate investment company operating in Finland, the Baltic States and Portugal. EfTEN Capital is one of the biggest commercial real estate fund managers in the Baltic States.
