We represented Private Jet Media Limited, a private airline advertising company, in a case against its direct competitor, FBO Group. Various procedural issues were dealt with in the case. The higher courts had to deal with the question of the jurisdiction of the action brought before the courts of the Republic of Lithuania.
After almost three years of litigation, the parties in the case came to a common solution: an amicable settlement agreement. According to this agreement, FBO Group ceases its competing activities with Private Jet Media Limited and does not place branding or advertising within private jet terminals or at fixed-base operators (FBOs).
This is perhaps the only case of its kind in Lithuania. Having received the Lithuanian courts’ recognition for the right to file a lawsuit regarding the abovementioned issues, it will undoubtedly affect similar cases.
