Sorainen advises two major start-up accelerators in Estonia

Sorainen Estonia has partnered with two Estonian start-up accelerators – GameFounders, the first gaming accelerator programme in Europe for start-ups, and Startup Wise Guys, an accelerator for early stage technology start-ups.

GameFounders chose Sorainen as legal advisor and mentor to establish the best structures for start-ups to be supported by the accelerator as well as to advise firms on all legal questions. Start-ups which gain the support of GameFounders will have access to the competence of 60+ gaming veterans, CEOs, CFOs and developers. Through the accelerator programme they also have access to partnership deals plus a network of angels and VCs interested in gaming start-ups.

Sorainen is also advising start-ups that have signed up with Wise Guys, which as a start-up itself provides seed funding and an intense mentorship programme to early stage technology start-ups. Up to 10 new Wise Guys teams are accepted for each cycle of acceleration. Start-ups will get seed funding, mentorship (from experts at SMLXL, Toggl, Flattr, SoundCloud, Springboard, Strata, Accel Partners etc) and closing demo days for investors in Tallinn and London.

GameFounders, Wise Guys and their start-ups are advised by partners Toomas Prangli and Kaupo Lepasepp, specialist counsel Kadri Kallas, and senior associates Paul Künnap and Mihkel Miidla.
