We advised our client Stena Line on a transaction involving acquisition of the operations of the ferry and RoRo terminals at the Port of Ventspils, Latvia.
About the acquisition
The acquisition in Latvia is the latest of several moves to support Stena Line’s long-term expansion in the Baltic Sea region, which is fast developing economically. Direct ownership of the operations in Ventspils will give Stena Line the initiative in future expansion opportunities, as Latvia continues to grow in importance as a maritime nation with increasing trade volumes.
