We successfully represented a client in a dispute with the state over cancellation of parts of administrative acts, invalidation of transactions and application of restitution.
The dispute was initiated by a public prosecutor defending the public interest – the state’s exclusive right to a forest located in an urban area. The dispute dealt with complex issues relating to invalidation of parts of administrative acts and transactions and the application of restitution.
Following complicated and lengthy negotiations, the client entered into a settlement agreement with the state on the basis of which the company (the final acquirer of the disputed land plot) will be compensated for the part of the land returned to the state. This avoided lengthy litigation in court, saving both the client and the state money.
