Our Dispute Resolution team provided legal assistance to a client, the owner of one of Riga’s largest shopping centres, and successfully represented the client’s interests in relation to a dispute over the payment of a debt arising from the lease agreement.
In order to achieve the desired result for the client, we brought a claim and ensured representation of the client at Arbitration Court hearings at the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK). After we successfully represented the client during the arbitration proceedings, the client’s claim was upheld and a favourable award was obtained. The Sorainen team is currently assisting the client during the execution stage of the ruling.
