We advised Tauras Films, a Lithuanian film production company, on acquiring the rights to create a virtual reality film adaptation of the world-famous book The Little Prince. The adaptation is planned for the international market and will have its world premiere in 2026.

A step into the international film industry

“This is the first time in the history of Lithuanian cinema that a filmmaker has been granted the rights to adapt one of the most famous and widely read works of literature of the last century,” says Žilvinas Naujokas, founder of Tauras Films and a film producer.

The Little Prince project aims to attract both Lithuanian and international filmmakers and to collaborate with renowned Hollywood actors, with partners currently being sought in Japan and the United States.

“Our courage to embrace new technologies, combined with the work we have done in recent years to create films in virtual reality format, has enabled us to showcase the great ambition and high quality of a small country and to confidently enter the international film industry. Our main goal is to leverage the potential of Lithuania’s audiovisual industry to create a global production for an international audience,” comments Žilvinas Naujokas.
