We acted as legal advisor in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania for OP Corporate Bank in financing Veho Group. The mandated lead arrangers in the syndicate were OP Corporate Bank, Nordea Bank and Danske Bank.
Syndicated financing was the method used to finance the acquisition of Silberauto enterprises. Silberauto, established in 1990, is one of the largest and oldest companies in Estonia and represents the brands within the Daimler Group, Jeep, Mitsubishi and Maserati. The company is also active in the Lithuanian market. Veho, established in 1939, is one of the largest vehicle dealers in Scandinavia and the Baltic countries.
As a result of the transaction, Veho acquires Silberauto’s business in Estonia and Lithuania, growing its annual turnover to approx EUR 1.5 billion.
