About me
A double specialization in dispute resolution and employment law enables me to successfully advise and represent clients in employment disputes. These disputes are unique in that they allow me to be in constant direct contact with clients, their managers and employees, enabling me to gain a deeper insight into the client’s needs and a better understanding of their business.
Professional highlights
Advice on the new Labour Code. I am pleased to have had the opportunity to contribute to the development of case law in employment matters. When the new Labour Code entered into force in 2017, our team was the first in Lithuania to successfully represent clients in cases involving dismissal on entirely new grounds—sexual harassment and other discrimination.
Liability cases. I represented clients in high-profile cases concerning the civil liability of managers of state or municipally-owned companies and members of the board of directors of private companies.
Family office. I am most inspired by the opportunity to help specific people, which is why I devote a lot of my time to working in the family office, where I can help clients’ family businesses find optimal business management solutions.
Mediation. I am a professional mediator, and I believe that it is in the best interests of the client to resolve a dispute amicably.
Developing young talent. I teach commercial law at Vilnius Business College and mentor younger Sorainen colleagues.
