Sorainen Lithuania advised Gasum, a Finnish energy company, on sale of the shares of GET Baltic. The shares were acquired by Amber Grid, a Lithuanian gas transmission system operator. The transaction was closed by the end of 2016.
The energy company Gasum is a Finnish gas sector (natural gas, LNG and biogas) expert that is building a bridge to a carbon-neutral society on land and at sea. Gasum operates and delivers gas to customers in Finland, Sweden and Norway.
Sorainen assisted the client in all stages of the transaction, including negotiations between the parties, provision of legal services by drafting share purchase agreement (as well as other agreements), consulting on assessment of GET Baltic value, and closing of the deal.
