Baltic Family Firm Institute – ECGI Conference 2024
This year the annual conference has a particular focus: the role of family firms in long-term sustainability.
The conference will focus on how family-owned enterprises can harness their long-term vision and values to strengthen the sustainability of both the firm and its stakeholders. Research on sustainability in family businesses is still in its early stages. The discussion will revolve around the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for the next generation of family business leaders, and practical guidance for the family enterprises shaping the future. This event is part of the Family Capitalism pillar of the ECGI’s Responsible Capitalism project.
In addition to the academic track, there will be keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops involving members of family businesses, as well as participants from industry and the public sector.
Sorainen partner Laimonas Skibarka and counsel Jurgita Karvelė will join the founder of Wingspan Legacy Partners, Christina Wing, on the Practitioner track panel, which will be devoted to handling difficult conversations.
Moreover, we are supporting the Baltic Family Firm Champions 2024 awards, recognising the most notable family businesses in each of the Baltic States. As cooperation partners of the conference, we are happy to offer our clients a special rate for participation. Please use discount code SORAINEN when applying.
