This presentation will give an overview of Bankruptcy law in Estonia with 2 special focusses. Firstly we will look at creditor rights – in other words how to get your money back from a company that is going into administration. Secondly, we will look at the issue of Management liability in bankruptcy situations. She will also briefly touch upon the differences of bankruptcy and reorganisation proceedings. Mari Karja is a widely acknowledged expert in the field of bankruptcy law in the EU and regularly consults lawmakers and businesses alike in the field.
The presentation will be delivered live online using Microsoft Teams and Mari will speak for about 20 minutes. There will also be time for questions but please send them to us in advance if possible.
