INSOL Europe Eastern European Countries’ Committee Conference
The INSOL Europe Eastern European Countries’ Committee Conference which will focus on “2023 Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners survival Kit” will be held from 18 to 19 May 2023. This year it was Vilnius’ turn to be chosen as the host city of the conference.
The conference is organised by INSOL Europe, one of the most important events devoted to restructuring and insolvency in Central and Eastern Europe, in cooperation with Mykolo Romerio Universitetas.
Senior associate Edvīns Draba will participate in the conference on 19 May 2023. Edvīns is taking part in the technical committee of the conference, responsible for preparing the program of the conference. In addition, Edvīns will be moderating the panel discussion entitled ‘When sanctions and insolvency cross paths’. The panel discussion will be devoted to the impact of sanctions enacted against Russia and Belarus on insolvency and restructuring proceedings and, among others, will feature the case study of Amsterdam Trade Bank.
INSOL Europe is the leading professional organisation in the field of restructuring and insolvency in Europe. Edvīns is the Country Coordinator for Latvia and also represents Latvia on its Eastern European Countries Committee.
