The Estonian Insurance Association appointed our senior associate Marcus Niin as the conciliator of the insurance conciliation body. His term begins on October 1, 2024, and lasts five years.
“An insurance conciliator is an independent and impartial expert in insurance disputes. The conciliator aims to help resolve disputes between the insurer and the insured. The conciliation body resolves a significant portion of insurance disputes in Estonia,” Niin explains the work of the conciliation body.
Reaching out to the conciliator is free of charge and it offers a much quicker resolution than court proceedings.
