The Court of Arbitration of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has included Dispute Resolution & Risk Management partner Valts Nerets in its closed list of arbitrators. Under the Arbitration Law of Latvia, the parties may appoint arbitrators only from the closed list managed by the founder of the arbitration court. With this appointment Valts is listed among 22 top arbitration practitioners who the parties may appoint as arbitrators for their case at the LCCI Court of Arbitration. Valts mostly handles cases involving cross-border elements, international trade issues, as well as transport and maritime law.
The LCCI Court of Arbitration has been operating from its foundation in 1934 and adjudicates both domestic and international civil disputes. Among law professionals the LCCI is considered to be the most professional and effective arbitration court in Latvia.
