Professional highlights

Passion for IP and IT law. In my daily work, I help clients mainly with different issues related to trademarks and copyrights. I found my passion for intellectual property law after working with software development contracts. I also try to apply my professional knowledge outside of my daily work by supporting different projects that I believe in, i.e. contributing to the organisation of the international movie festival PÖFF.

International view. Before joining Sorainen, I interned with the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Permanent Mission of Estonia to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva, as well as with the Government Office of Estonia during the Presidency of the Council of the EU. I have also spent some time in England and Australia as an exchange student. These experiences have given me a versatile background in international public law and the precious skill of always seeing the broader picture.

Skillful argumentation. I believe that two-sided discussions and meaningful facts are keys to success in both court and in public discussions. I have been engaged in debating for over 10 years and know well how to achieve expected results through negotiations. In addition to self development, the debating training has given me an opportunity to instruct others and support the development of our society through moderating public discussions at the widely respected Estonian Opinion Festival.
