Professional highlights

Highly valued transaction adviser. I am proud that constant learning, development, and hard work have enabled me to enjoy an excellent reputation as an M&A and real estate transaction adviser and negotiator, referred to by clients as “an irreplaceable partner.” For nearly 25 years, I have participated as the leader and counsel in numerous landmark mergers and acquisitions. Passionate about negotiations, I believe there is nothing that cannot be solved through negotiations.

Real estate sector expertise. I have notable expertise in the fields of construction and real estate. I have the privilege of being characterised by clients as “one of the leading legal minds in real estate law, displaying a remarkable sense for detecting and foreseeing risks.” In addition to advising several large construction and real estate companies, I have acted as an expert and mediator in construction-related disputes.

Contributing to the development of law. As part of my mission, I contribute to better law-making as a chair of the Commercial Law Committee of the Estonian Bar Association. I also served as an expert member of the Estonian Ministry of Justice’s Company Law Review Committee, which aims to reform the country’s company law. In addition, I stand for the proper balance in protecting all company stakeholders and have published several articles on the topic.

Unlocking potential talent. I have taught corporate law at the University of Tartu for several years and have also lectured at corporate and M&A seminars, conferences, and training courses. As a team leader, I am dedicated to creating a working environment that maximises the performance and happiness of our highly talented people.

Executive coaching. As helping clients succeed and supporting others in creating better results and happier lives is my passion, I have become a qualified executive coach and NLP trainer. I believe that coaching and NLP techniques enable me also to be a better team leader and partner with my clients.

Leadership. Leaders set the tone, create culture, reinforce values, and drive results that deeply impact people’s lives. While leadership can be demanding and challenging, done well, it is the only way to make real change and progress. I am proud to be a Franklin Covey-certified facilitator of the 4 Essential Roles of Leadership program and promote leadership topics in Sorainen to improve the experience of the people working with us.
