About me

I am an associate in the firm‘s Dispute Resolution & Risk Management team with significant academic and professional experience in criminal law.

Professional highlights

Representation and defence in criminal cases. Every day I contribute to ensuring that the rights and interests of victims, civil claimants, suspects, accused and convicted persons are properly represented and defended in criminal proceedings. I assist the team in advising clients and drafting procedural documents in criminal proceedings concerning economic, financial, corruption, tax and other related crimes. I have valuable academic experience, which I successfully combine with practical work. The synergy of these competencies allows me to offer precise, efficient and creative solutions in complex legal situations. I am interested in international and EU criminal law and I am gaining experience in administrative litigation.

PhD in criminal law. I have defended my thesis in the field of social sciences (law) on legal cooperation among the Member States of the EU with regard to the transfer of prisoners for further execution of a custodial sentence. My dissertation research was ranked as one of the best in the 2023/2024 academic year and won the Kazimieras Motieka Foundation Prize. During my PhD studies, I have implemented several significant projects that have contributed to my professional and academic development and have allowed me to deepen my knowledge in my chosen field of research and develop my analytical and problem-solving skills.

Participation in academic activities. I also share my academic and professional experience with students, to whom I lecture on national and EU criminal law and problems of implementation of criminal liability at Vilnius University Faculty of Law. I actively contribute to the academic community’s activities and scientific research development. I have published articles in national and international journals and have prepared individual analyses for scholarly books published by international publishers such as Wolters Kluwer Italia and Prague Leges.
