Independent auditors’ report
The reporting period has closed successfully. The turnover of the Latvian office increased by 12% compared to the previous reporting year and amounts to EUR 9.4 million. The profit of the office is EUR 2.14 million, showing a 46% increase compared to the previous period. Meanwhile, net assets increased by 14% or EUR 285,000 during the year. As was the case last year, in this reporting year the turnover of Sorainen office is the highest among Latvian law firms.
The annual report also emphasises the most important milestones in the development of the office during the reporting period:
- The office also continued its stable growth in 2023, reaching a new peak: hiring our 100th team member (the average number of employees in 2023 was 69, and the number of practising sworn attorneys and sworn attorneys’ assistants was 31.)
- Protection of honour, dignity and reputation practice is established in 2023 as part of Sorainen Dispute Resolution practice group
- We became a Nasdaq First North certified consultant, a member of WTS Global and a member of the Federation of Security and Defence Industries of Latvia
The Sorainen office in Tallinn continues to be one of the biggest employers in the legal market in Estonia. The average number of employees in the firm has grown organically since its foundation in 1995, reaching 85 employees in 2023 (jumping up from 82 in 2022).
