Sorainen advised Taurapolis, real estate development company, on its acquisition of part of a building complex located in the former Vilniaus Tauro brewery territory in Vilnius, which is a cultural heritage.
In a property located in Aludariø street, Taurapolis intends to develop offices, apartments and a hotel as well as the biggest SPA centre in Vilnius. According to Taurapolis’ CEO, Linas Stankus, developement should be launced by the end of 2017.
“Total area of acquired buildings is approximately 7,000 m2. Most of the buildings are cultural heritage sites, some of them represent unique architecture of 19th century – spacious basements and high arc-shaped ceiling. Total basement area covers 1,500 m2. These characteristics suggest a theme of a hotel with large SPA centre in antique basements,” says Linas Stankus.
Sorainen assisted the client in all stages of the transaction, including preparation of acquisition documents and representing client in negotiation.
The client was advised by partner Aušra Mudënaitë and senior associate Julija Kirkilienë.
