“The Kalevala” is a national Finnish folklore epic poem based on national songs and epics from Karelia and Finland. The first version of “The Kalevala” was published in 1835. Since then, the book has been translated into 61 languages, including Belarussian. Presentation of the Belarusian edition took place at The Belarus National Library on 10 December.
