Sorainen was named Baltic-wide Law Firm of the Year at the Chambers Europe Awards 2023. The award recognises our law firm pre-eminence in key jurisdictions in the region. The honour is awarded based on research for the latest edition of the Chambers Europe Guide.
“Our Baltic-wide team has been consistently improving in all practice areas. We’re incredibly pleased to receive this acknowledgement from Chambers. I believe that the two key reasons for this success include our integrated approach across the region, and focus on client satisfaction,” says managing partner Laimonas Skibarka.
Biggest projects in the Baltics
The Chambers awards reflect nominee achievements over the past 12 months. They recognise outstanding work, impressive strategic growth, and excellence in client service. 2022 was a highly successful and active year for Sorainen, during which we advised key market players in both public and private sector on the biggest deals in the region. Examples include:
- Advising Bolt on their USD 709 million fundraising round
- Advising YIT on entering the largest ever residential to-let development project in the Baltics
- Advising Utilitas on inaugurating the largest onshore wind park in Latvia with a capacity of 58.8 MW, which nearly doubled the total wind power infrastructure installed in Latvia
- Advising Invalda INVL on the acquisition of Mandatum Life’s Baltic insurance business
