In the recently released The Legal 500 rankings, we have strengthened our positions in Latvia in the area of banking, finance and capital markets and considerably boosted our team’s personal rankings.
In total, we received 29 Tier 1 rankings in the Baltics and Belarus and 56 lawyers were named as outstanding professionals in their fields, including ten lawyers who successfully improved their personal rankings or were ranked for the first time.
Finance & Insurance team in Latvia moved up to top tier
Our Finance & Insurance team in Latvia improved its position and is now ranked in Tier 1.
According to The Legal 500, “Sorainen stands out for its expertise in regulatory work; it counts the Latvian government as a key client and is currently assisting with the country’s efforts to combat any instances of money laundering. […] Capital markets is another strong point for the practice, with notable clients including Nasdaq CSD and Nasdaq CSD Iceland”.
Strong increase in Real Estate and Construction team’s personal rankings
All three partners from our Real Estate & Construction team in Lithuania have improved their personal rankings: Kęstutis Adamonis and Aušra Mudėnaitė were included in the Hall of Fame for the first time and Asta Augutytė-Rapkevičienė was named a Next Generation Partner.
Additionally, Lelde Laviņa, who leads our Real Estate & Construction team in Latvia, has been newly recognised as a Leading Individual.
