Sorainen has selected 15 projects that will receive pro bono legal and tax advice from us in the Shared Mission programme. The selected candidates will receive free legal and tax advice on various issues they face, from establishing an entity and employment arrangements to data protection and fundraising.
Great pool of participants in the environmental field
One of the ways we, as a firm, can support climate action goal is by assisting environmentally-focused projects by doing something we do best – providing legal and tax services.
The successful applicants are involved in a wide range of environmental innovative projects such as sustainable farming, maximizing solar energy in buildings to ensure lower energy costs, eliminating food waste, resolving ecological issues through environmental advocacy, and many others.
This year we spotlighted environment-focused companies, non-governmental organizations, startups, projects and initiatives aiming to do good in local and global communities in any way that may be called innovative. We received more than 20 applications from innovative and sustainability focused projects.
We thank everyone who showed interest in our programme, spread the word about it and sent in their application.
About the Shared Mission programme
The Shared Mission programme was originally launched by Sorainen in 2020 to support the faster recovery of our region from the health and economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic by giving free legal and tax advice to projects working towards this goal. After the success of the Shared Mission programme 2020, we decided to make it a part of our sustainability strategy and run it annually. So far, we have supported more than 40 projects across the region. Annually we allocate over EUR 100,000 for Shared Mission and other pro bono initiatives.
