We are extremely happy and proud that our colleague Katrīna Bičevska, together with this year’s VisMoot team, managed an excellent performance at the XII Budapest Pre-Moot. In this competition of 78 different universities from all around the world Willem C. Vis Moot Team University of Latvia made it to the finals. In a very exciting final the team from the University of Gottingen prevailed.
Budapest Pre-Moot is widely known as one of the biggest pre-moots before the main rounds in Vienna. This year was no exception, as it gathered participants from the USA, China, France, Germany and many other countries.
We were happy to host the team and to assist them to remotely participate in XII Budapest Pre-Moot. Our colleague Elvis Grinbergs acted as one of the coaches for the very successful team of young Latvian lawyers in the moot court.
